We're excited to announce coming upgrades to Qebot’s email marketing tool. On Monday, November 16, 2015, Mailjet will officially replace MailChimp as Qebot’s email marketing partner. While Qebot tool capabilities and account access will remain the same, we want to make sure all of our clients are aware of the changes to the Qebot platform.
You’ll receive more details as we approach the rollout date for the new technology. In the meantime, please see below a few FAQs related to the transition.
Why is Qebot changing partners?
Qebot was built to make digital marketing simple and powerful for local business owners. While we’ve loved the performance of MailChimp’s email marketing platform, their product has evolved in ways that make us less able to deliver an easy-to-use email marketing solution to our clients. Our new partner Mailjet, offers all the power of MailChimp, with a smoother integration into our platform and an upgraded experience for users.
Who will this affect?
This change will affect all Qebot clients. Once we roll out Mailjet, the Email Marketing tool within the Qebot platform will open the new Mailjet-based technology instead of the current MailChimp integration.
What do I need to do, as a Qebot client?
Not a thing. Your new Mailjet account will be set up for you and plugged into the Qebot platform. Once Mailjet is live, the Email Marketing tool in your Qebot account will give you access to Mailjet’s technology, instead of MailChimp’s.
Will I lose my contact lists?
No! Any MailChimp contact lists you have will automatically be transferred over to Mailjet.
Can I continue using MailChimp?
Yes, but unfortunately not through the Qebot platform. If you prefer to continue using MailChimp, you may do so by logging in directly at mailchimp.com. Note that once the new integration is live, MailChimp will no longer be accessible through Qebot, and our staff will no longer offer MailChimp-related support. MailChimp has extensive online educational documentation available, should you choose to continue using their product.
Where do I learn how to use the new system?
As the rollout date approaches, Qebot will provide resources to help you get up to speed with the new technology, including updates to the online knowledge base and a walkthrough webinar where current clients can ask questions after seeing Mailjet in action. If you’re currently using MailChimp, the new integration will look very familiar, but we want to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
